<p>A method of manufacturing a liquid-crystal display is provided in which desired joints are formed between sealing material and anisotropic conductive material to decrease defects such as insufficient sealing and wire disconnections. A sealing material (2) is formed so that its edges (2b) may meet alignment marks (15) formed on the upper surface of a first substrate (6a), whereas an anisotropic conductive material (3) is formed so that its edges (3b) may meet alignment marks (16) formed on the upper surface of a second substrate (6b). The first substrate (6a) and the second substrate (6b) are bonded together to join the sealing material (2) and the anisotropic conductive material (3), forming an integral sealing structure (4).</p> |
