PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key switch device capable of maintaining a big key stroke while thinning a keyboard and preventing a key top from being laterally slipped. SOLUTION: The upward and downward movement of a key top is guided and supported by the gears 12a, 12b, 22a, 22b of both link members rotating being mated and synchronized each other. Thereby, a structure to slide and guide the holder part of a key stem upward and downward is not required, and a keyboard, therefore, can be thinned while maintaining a big key stroke. In addition, the end surfaces of respective locking parts 14a, 14b, 24a, 24b of both link members are brought into contact with inner wall parts of second locking parts 27a, 27b, 28a, 28b respectively, and the movement of both link members in the axial direction of base parts 9, 19 is regulated relative to holder plate 26. Therefore, when pushing down the key top, the key top is prevented from being laterally slipped. |
