PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition excellent in slipperiness, gas barrier properties, and clarity. SOLUTION: EVOH is excellent in clarity, gas barrier properties, perfume retention, resistances to solvents and oils, etc. In order to utilize such characteristics of EVOH by molding it into films, sheets, or containers (e.g. bottles) for packaging food, medicines, industrial and agricultural chemicals, etc., an EVOH solution having a pH adjusted to 7-9 is mixed with an oxide dispersion and then the liquid component is removed from the resultant mixture. In this case, EVOH having an ethylene content of 20-60 mol% (preferably 25-55 mol%) and a degree of saponification of 90 mol% or higher (preferably 95 mol% or higher) is used.
