PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent surface reflection of a polarizing plate on a light-diffusion plate and adsorption of dust or dirt and to make preventable scratches on the surface of the polarizing plate. SOLUTION: The light-diffusing plate 41 is disposed facing one substrate 24 of a liquid crystal panel having a pair of substrates 23, 24 facing each other. A polarizing plate 26 is disposed on one face of the light diffusion plate 41 facing the substrate 24. Then a surface reflection reducing layer 27, transparent and electrically conductive thin film 42 and contamination preventing layer 43 are formed on the surface of the polarizing plate 26 facing the substrate 24. |
