PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uncurling device for a machine-glazed paper to effect uncurling without damaging the machine-glazed paper. SOLUTION: This uncurling device comprises an uncurling guide 13 situated a position reverse to the curl direction of a machine-glazed paper 1 on a conveyance route for the machine-glazed paper 1, and a support shaft 15 situated opposite to the uncurling guide 13 and pressing the machine-glazed paper 1 against the uncurling guide 13 during uncurling. This device is situated further on the side situated upper stream from the conveyance route than the uncurling guide 13. At an usual time, a conveyance route to separate the machine-glazed paper 1 from the uncurling guide 13 is formed. A gate 14 is provided to oscillate in linkage with movement of the support shaft 15 and form a conveyance route to force the machine-glazed paper 1 into contact with the uncurling guide 13 during uncurling.
