PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the tread-adjusting device of a carrying vehicle capable of running by riding on wider ridges, having a minimum tread capable of being loaded on a light track and a frame which does not largely bend when heavy goods are loaded in a state with the maximum tread. SOLUTION: This device for adjusting the tread of a carrying vehicle is constituted by installing hollow cylindrical guides 21 to a frame material 2 in front and rear to be parallel in order to connect so that each of frame materials 2 and 3 can mutually approach and separate, bringing the top of a rod 31 engaged through the guides 21 to push and pull the guides 21 respectively to be folded in a right angle and a rotary drive shaft 7 is constituted of a cylindrical body 71A, an intermediate cylindrical body 71B engaged with the cylindrical body 71A to be freely going in and out and a shaft 72 engaged with the intermediate cylindrical body 71B to be freely going in and out.
