PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce degradation in image quality due to correction of image information conducted by an image forming device. SOLUTION: The information in an image file of a smart medium is detected (72), whether or not a camera is the same, print information is present and the absence of a reflected mark to in-camera image quality correction is satisfied are judged, and when the image file satisfies the conditions above, a white balance correction amount is read from an area recording a white balance correction amount in an area recording the print information and an entire white balance correction mean value is calculated (74). An AWB additional control variable (A) to be additionally corrected by a digital still camera is calculated (76) from the white balance correction mean value, the current AWB additional control variable and the AWB additional control variable (A) are multiplied to decide a new AWB additional control variable, which is set in the camera (78). Similarly a correction circuit, a gamma conversion circuit, a YCrCb matrix circuit and a contour correction circuit are set similarly on the basis of other lightness correction amount, a gradation correction amount, a coloring correction amount and a contour correction amount.
