PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an illegal duplication inhibited material which is comparatively difficult to be duplicated and an identifying device of the illegal duplication inhibited material which can easily identify the illegal duplication inhibited material. SOLUTION: The illegal duplication inhibited material 11 is obtained by printing or marking on an insulated base material 12 consisting of paper, a plastic sheet or a plastic plate. The insulated base material 12 is provided with a resonance circuit 13 resonating with the radio wave of a specified frequency. The insulated base material 12 consists of two layers; a surface layer 12a and a rear face layer 12b, and the resonance circuit 13 is provided between the surface layer 12a and the rear face layer 12b. The identifying device of the illegal duplication inhibited material is provided with an antenna constituted so as to be capable of transmitting the radio wave to the resonance circuit 13 of the illegal duplication inhibited material, an identifying circuit electrically connected with the antenna and outputting an identifying signal being the resonance signal of the resonance circuit, and an informing means informing an abnormal state by the identifying signal of the identifying circuit.
