PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seatback structure providing support in a configuration matching the backbone of a seated person to provide a lumber support function, while achieving automation of assembly and a reduction in weight of a seat itself, and simplifying frame members themselves for the purpose of securing the space for assembly of a side airbag unit. SOLUTION: A lower wire frame 9 comprises a pair of right and left rear end portions 9a provided in positions corresponding to the lumbar vertebrae of a seated person, and a first projection 91 that greatly projects upward from the rear end portions 9a so as to be located in front of an upper wire frame 8. The first projection 91 comprises a horizontal portion 91a which extends horizontally at a position corresponding to the scapulas of the seated person, and a pair of vertical portions 91b, 91b extending vertically in symmetry on both sides of the horizontal portion 91a, the vertical portions 91b, 91b being shaped to extend along the backbone of the seated person, with their upper parts bent so as to be located slightly backward on side view. |
