PURPOSE: A circuit for continuously driving an infrared sensor is provided by artificially changing temperature of the sensor by intermitting light beams or heat radiated from the infrared sensor by a predetermined period or a chopping frequency during the operation of the infrared sensor. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for continuously driving an infrared sensor includes a rectifying part(200) connected to an output terminal of a power supply(100) for rectifying AC power, a period control part(300) having a timer IC(302) connected to an output terminal of the rectifying part, a plurality of resistances(R1,R3) connected to the timer IC, and condensers(C5,C7) for outputting signals according to a predetermined period or chopping operation frequency for intermitting the light beams or heat radiated from the infrared sensor, an actuator driving part(400) for controlling a driving power by a photocoupler(PC1) connected to the timer IC which outputs a gate signal to a triac(X1) according to the predetermined period or the operation frequency output from the period control part, and an actuator(500) for intermitting the light beams or heat radiated from the infrared sensor according to an output signal from the actuator driving part. |
