The present invention relates to an emergency power supply system (1) for a gas turbine power generation system comprising a hydrogen-cooled generator (3) having hydrogen as coolant, the emergency power supply system (1) comprising a fuel cell (2) using hydrogen as fuel, the fuel cell (2) being designed in such a way that, during a failure or disruption of the power supply from the gas turbine power generation system, the hydrogen filling of the hydrogen-cooled generator (3) is diverted to the fuel cell (2). The fuel cell (2) is fed during failure or disruption of the power supply from the gas turbine power generation system with the hydrogen filling of the hydrogen-cooled generator (3) and also with hydrogen from a hydrogen storage (4) or with hydrogen from generator auxiliaries (5). |
