LITHIUM ION POLYMER BATTERY

PURPOSE: A lithium ion polymer battery is provided for efficiently preventing the leak of organic electrolyte by improving the sealing condition between the insulating sheath and the anode and/or cathode terminals. CONSTITUTION: The lithium ion polymer battery comprises the cell body(29) laminated with the anode, the cathode and the separator; the anode terminal(25) and the cathode terminal(27) connected to the cell body to lead the current generated in the cell body toward the outside and coated with the heat-adhesive material layer(31) to eliminate void space on the surface of desired area; and the insulating sheath(35) to seal the cell body, the anode and cathode terminals as partially opened at both terminals and coated with the heat-adhesive material layer(31) at the inner surface of the sheath.
