PURPOSE: A static electricity grounding device for vehicles is provided to extend the service life of the device by installing the device at the bottom of a vehicle and making it contact with the ground only when the vehicle is stationary. CONSTITUTION: Door switches are turned on when the door is open and turned off when the door is shut. An ECU(electronic control unit) identifies the driving state from the signals of the door switches. A relay controls power source form a battery to an electromagnet(2). A fixing member(5) is installed at the bottom of a vehicle with fastening units. A magnetic field is formed in a coil connected to the battery when the power is input. The end of the electromagnet(2) comprises an attaching member(7) and a grounding member(8).
