PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated thesaurus preparing device operable at a high speed and a low cost in distributed database environment, a corrected thesaurus preparing device and an each-user thesaurus preparing device capable of dealing with various user's needs, an integrated thesaurus preparing program storage medium for forming and operating these thesaurus preparing device on a computer, a corrected thesaurus preparing program storage medium and an each-user thesaurus preparing program storage medium. SOLUTION: A characteristic thesaurus obtaining means 11-1 obtains database thesauruses 17a, 17b expressing a mutual relation between words in information stored in database 15a and 15b. An integrated thesaurus preparing means 11-2 integrates the obtained thesauruses to prepare an integrated thesaurus 12 expressing a mutual relation between words corresponding to total information stored in a group of database.
