PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing cold rolled steel sheet having superior magnetic properties, which is used for shadow mask of color television braun tube. CONSTITUTION: The cold rolled steel sheet for shadow mask is manufactured by homogenizing a super low carbon steel comprising C 0.004wt.%, Mn 0.1-0.4wt.%, P 0.02wt.% or less, S 0.02wt.% or less, sol-Al 0.02-0.08wt.%, N 0.004wt.% or less, Cr 0.02-0.06wt.%, Nb 0.0050-0.030wt.%, a balance of Fe, and other inevitable impurities in the temperature range of 1050 to 1100deg.C; finish hot rolling the super low carbon steel in the temperature range of 750 to 800deg.C; coiling the super low carbon steel sheet in the temperature range of 600 to 700deg.C; cold rolling it to target thickness at a reduction rate of 85 to 90%; continuous annealing it in the temperature range of 640 to 680deg.C; and then temper rolling.
