PURPOSE: A simulation apparatus and method for power generation facilities using an entry table is provided to rapidly and simply perform a simulation without changing an operation program by registering an entry table according to contents of data, and by performing the simulation according to items stored in the entry table. CONSTITUTION: A host computer(100) receives data according to a simulation. A simulation computer(200) is equipped with a communication cable(210), an entry table(220), an index unit(230), a memory unit(240) and a modeling unit(250). The simulation computer(200) transmits data to the host computer(100) through the communication cable(210). The entry table(220) is registered in the first or the second table of the communication table(210). The modeling unit(250) performs a modeling of each component of power generation facilities. The memory unit(240) stores data modeled by the modeling unit(250) in an address relevant to each component. The index unit(230) stores connections between the data and the component in the form of index.
