PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to have an interaction with a broadcast signal in a simple system with the broadcast signal used as a rich information source. SOLUTION: This system includes a data source 56, a network operation center proxy 52 which is connected to the source 56, a terminal 48 which receives a data stream from the proxy 52 and broadcasts an interactive broadcast signal and a receiver 58 which receives the interactive broadcast signal. The receiver 58 includes a video/audio reproduction module, an interaction module and a communication module. Thus, a new broadcast mark-up stream is added to a signal.
