PURPOSE: A hand shaking compensating circuit is provided to be capable of rapidly detecting a hand-shaking and exactly compensating the hand-shaking. CONSTITUTION: An image subdivision part(11) subdivides an image portion in vertical and horizontal directions over an overall portion of an input image. A plurality of stripe filters(12-1 to 12-n) convert an output of the image subdivision part(11) to calculate a radio frequency energy and a direct current of a conversion domain. A plurality of threshold limiting parts(13-1 to 13-n) receive outputs of corresponding stripe filters to output a value over a predetermined value. A plurality of difference calculating parts(14-1 to 14-n) receive outputs of corresponding threshold limiting parts and obtain a difference with an adjacent value to calculate a determination period. A plurality of comparators(15-1 to 15-n) receive outputs of corresponding difference calculating parts to judge a hand-shaking by comparing an adjacent stripe value with a previous value. A plurality of vertical and horizontal hand-shaking calculating parts(16-1 to 16-n) receive outputs of corresponding comparators to calculate compensation values of vertical and horizontal directions. An image compensation part(18) constructs a hand-shaking compensation image using a prevent input image and a previous image.
