PURPOSE: An apparatus for accessing data of a dual port RAM is provided to design a software without a change of a characteristic, and to prevent the inconsistency of data by changing a processing mode in a hardware in case that different processors simultaneously access a memory. CONSTITUTION: A data access device of a dual port RAM is composed of a clock input unit(10), a processor matching unit(12), a simultaneous access sensing unit(14) and a dual port RAM control unit(16). The clock input unit(10) receives a clock inside of a board used. The processor matching unit(12) performs a matching between the clock input unit(10) and the dual port RAM control unit(16). The processor matching unit(12) receives a control signal of a processor, and responds the signal to the processor. The simultaneous access sensing unit(14) senses that two different processors simultaneously access the same dual port RAM. The dual port RAM control unit(16) respectively receives information from the processor matching unit(12) and the simultaneous access sensing unit(14), and outputs a dual port RAM control signal.
