PURPOSE: A method for supplying additional services is provided to add credit card information to a mobile phone or an overhead channel of an origination message to interpret the added information and to set up a call, so as to exactly or quickly supply the additional services of credit cards. CONSTITUTION: If an origination message is received in an intelligent network mobile switching center(IN MSC) through a base station or an MSC, the IN MSC confirms an incoming telephone number recorded in an overhead channel of the origination message. If the incoming telephone number corresponds to an additional service relating to a credit card, the IN MSC transmits the number to a service control point(SCP) controlling signal exchanging/connecting/charging services, to transmit the number to a server of a corresponding credit card company. The origination message is transmitted to the server of the credit card company. The server compares credit card information recorded in the overhead channel with self corresponding information of a database, and transmits a reply depending on whether a credit card is valid. The IN MSC receives the reply and sets up a call with a mobile phone or outputs a message announcing a service-incapability. |
