THE STAINLESS SHEET COATING METHOD FOR RESISTANCE WITH HIGH TEMP. CHLORIDE ATMOSPHERE

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing multi-plated stainless steel sheets for the application to an exhaust pipe of automobile is provided to produce a multi-plated stainless steel sheet having superior corrosion resistance against NaCl solution even at high temperature. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method of the multi-plated stainless steel sheet comprises the process of forming an Al vacuum-deposited layer (2) having a thickness of 20μm on the upper surface of a stainless steel sheet (1) so as to give corrosion resistance even at high temperature; forming a Si vacuum-deposited layer (3) having a thickness of 0.5-3μm on the upper surface of the Al vacuum-deposited layer with maintaining the temperature of the stainless steel sheet over 300deg.C; forming an Al vacuum-deposited layer (4) having a thickness of 1-4μm on the upper surface of the Si vacuum-deposited layer.
