METHOD FOR SUPPLYING TOLL FREE PHONE SERVICES WHILE LISTENING TO ADVERTISING ANNOUNCEMENT ON AN INTELLIGENT NETWORK EXCHANGE

PURPOSE: A method for a toll free phone service while listening to an advertising announcement on an intelligent network exchange(INX) is provided to toll free phone services to an INX subscriber, when the INX subscriber listens to an announcement for a regular advertisement, so that an INT provider can obtain advertising fees from an advertiser, and so as to prevent subscriber secession. CONSTITUTION: A service control point(SCP) receives an initial detection point(IDP) message corresponding to an off hook signal. A transmitting terminal decides whether a subscriber is pertinent. If so, the transmitting terminal transmits an establish telephony connection(ETC) command and a furnish charging information(FCI) command to a service switching point(SSP). The transmitting terminal transmits a play announce report(PA) to an intelligent peripheral(IP) to control a connection of a speech path between the SSP and the IP. The SSP switches the speech path to be adjusted to the ETC command and the FCI command. The IP(30) transmits an advertising announcement to the transmitting terminal in accordance with the PA command and transmits the advertisement completion message received from the transmitting terminal to the SCP. The SCP transmits a toll free phone service message, a disconnect forward connection(DFC) command and a release(REL) command to the SSP. The SSP disconnects the advertisement announcement from the transmitting terminal and transmits a dial tone from the transmitting terminal depending on the toll free phone service message and completes the intelligent processing procedure in accordance with the REL command.
