PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide the traveling road of its own vehicle accurately through a simple calculation logic without setting a traveling route by retrieving a coordinate point approaching to its own vehicle and making a decision that its own vehicle is currently traveling on the road having a coordinate point closest thereto. SOLUTION: Radio waves received by a GPS antenna 1 from satellites are taken into a GPS receiver 4a where current position of its own vehicle is calculated based on the received radio waves. The radio waves received by the GPS receiver 4a through an FM antenna 2 and an FM multiplex receiver 3 contain traffic jam information, and the like, and the GPS receiver 4a displays traffic jam situation of peripheral roads in a display 5, and the like, based on the information received from the FM multiplex receiver 3. The navigation body 4 comprises means 4c for deciding a road on which its own vehicle is currently traveling, and means 4d for calculating the radius of curve of the road. |
