PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverse cell type ice-making machine formed such that the surface of the water tray of the reverse cell type ice-making machine is coated with a water repellent agent to prevent adhesion of fungi. SOLUTION: A reverse cell ice-making machine comprises a number of ice- making machine chambers 1A opened in a down state; a cooler 1 having an evaporation pipe 2 of a cooling device disposed in the outer surface of an upper wall; a water pun 5 having fountain holes 3 and return holes 4, corresponding to the ice-making chamber 1A; a water tank 6 communicating with the return holes 4; and a circulation pump 9 to inject water in the water tank 6 through the fountain holes 3 and circulate the water to the ice-making chambers 1A. The surface of the water pan 5 is coated with a water-repellent agent.
