The invention concerns an electric motor comprising a generally cylindrical stator and a rotor mounted rotatable in said stator between two bearings integral with the stator. The stator comprises an electrically insulating plastic part formed with an overmoulded component, said part comprising: 1) a first flange shaped to support one of the bearings of the rotor and 2) means configured to contribute to the support of the motor itself in the apparatus housing said motor. A second flange (55) incorporates: a) carbon housings (561, 562) for powering the motor, b) an electrical connector box (57) and c) a housing for an electronic module (58) for controlling the rotational speed of the motor.
