The method and appliance for finishing non-cutting shaping of the outer parts of homocinetic joints involve a lengthwise axis for the outer parts, and an inner cavity running in the direction of the lengthwise axis. The inner cavity contains tracks which have hardened contact zones for roll bodies. A rigid calibrating-pin is axially inserted into the outer part. A number of calibrating jaws (8) matching the number of tracks are radially adjustable to the calibrating pin, and have radial partition planes positioned symmetrically between two hardened contact zones.
