摘要 <p>The invented connecting device is intended for a transom construction with main struts (101) and cross struts (102, 103) comprising identical hollow profiles having two wide side walls and two narrow side walls, wherein two laterally attached cross struts (102, 103) are connected with the main strut (101). Each narrow side wall of the main strut (101) being provided with a through-hole (112) as a connecting means, a connecting pin (111) protruding out of both sides of the main strut (101) and penetrating into the through-holes (112). The ends of the pins (111) being situated in holes (117) of clamping elements (113), and the clamping elements (113) being adapted to an inner contour of the cross struts (102, 103) and situated in the end area of the cross strut (102, 1033) with a press fit. The fitting hole (117) in the connecting element (113) is tapered in the direction of the connecting pin (111) insertion in such a manner that the connecting element (113) expands when the connecting pin (111) is inserted into the fitting hole (117) and transversely to this hole (117) wedges to inner the inner wall of the transverse strut (102, 103). Moreover in the area of the connecting element (113) rear face edge there is performed a stop means preventing overlapping the connecting element (113) to the transverse strut (102, 103) when the connecting pin (111) is inserted in the tapered fitting hole of the connecting element (113).</p>
