<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the wear of chips, to provide energy conservation and to reduce a running cost. SOLUTION: This garbage treating device 10 executes the microorganism treatment of the garbage by microorganisms eating the garbage. In such a case, the device has a cylindrical drum 12 which has an opening/closing cap 11 and internally houses the chips adhered with the microorganisms, a rotary driving device 13 which rotates the cylindrical drum 12 and a hot air supply device 14 which supplies hot air into the cylindrical drum 12. This treatment method consists in executing the microorganism treatment of the garbage by supplying the hot air and the water into the cylindrical drum 12 in which the microorganisms eating the garbage and the chips adhered with microminiature cocci eating the residues thereof are housed, maintaining the temperature in the cylindrical drum 12 at 30 to 60 deg.C and the humidity at 60 to 90%, feeding the garbage into the cylindrical drum 12 and agitating the garbage and the chips by rotating the cylindrical drum 12.</p> |
