The invention relates to a loading device for a fire arm, comprising a tubular magazine (18; 18'), which accommodates the cartridges (16; 16') essentially coaxially one behind the other. In said tubular magazine (18; 18'), the cartridges (16, 16') are subject to a spring tension from a loading opening (22) of the tubular magazine (18; 18') in the direction of the end (14) of the fire arm barrel (4; 4') that is furthest from the muzzle. The cartridges are loaded successively into the barrel end (14) that is furthest from the muzzle from a discharge opening (20) of the tubular magazine (18; 18'). The inventive device also comprises a trigger-activated hammer (30; 30') for igniting the propellant charge of a cartridge (16; 16') positioned in the barrel end (14) that is furthest away from the muzzle at the same time as closing the barrel end (14) furthest from the muzzle. The inventive device is characterized in that the tubular magazine (18; 18') is situated in a plane beyond the longitudinal middle axis of the barrel (4; 4') and can pivot about an axis (26; 26') that lies in this plane, adjacent to the loading opening (22) of the tubular magazine (18; 18'). The invention is further characterized in that the barrel end (14) furthest from the muzzle and the discharge opening (20) of the tubular magazine (18; 18') can be positioned essentially flush with one another, and in that the pivoting movement of the tubular magazine (18; 18') is coupled with the closing and opening movement of the hammer (30; 30'). |
