PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sound absorbing performance per unit set area. SOLUTION: This sound absorbing structure comprises an outer resonator A and an inner resonator B. In the outer resonator A, an outer hollow projecting part 21 formed in an outer partition 2 surrounds an inner hollow projecting part 31 formed in an inner partition 3, an outer air layer 4 is formed between the outer hollow projecting part 21 and the inner hollow projecting part 31, and an outer orifice hole 22 is bored in a top wall face 21a of the outer hollow projecting part 21. In the inner resonator B, an inner air layer 5 is formed between the inner hollow projecting part 31 and a base plate 1, while an inner orifice hole 32 is bored in a top wall face 31a of the inner hollow projecting part 31. The resonators A, B are disposed in series with each other in the incident direction of an air transmission sound from a sound source. |
