PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to effectively shield heat, to reduce the number of parts of the device and to reduce a parts purchase cost and assembly cost by forming an aperture of ceramics. SOLUTION: Light 11 emitted from a light source 10 arrives at a liquid crystal panel 12 after the unnecessary light is removed therefrom by a box type aperture 1 made of a ceramic. The aperture 1 is made of the ceramic by which the light energy emitted from the light source 10 will not reduce a high temperature, and smaller the thermal conductivity will be small. A resin case 31 is, therefore, hardly adversely affected and eventually the reduction in the size of the aperture 1 and the number of parts is made possible. More particularly the ceramic aperture 1 is formed to a box shape, by which the heat transfer distance A to the resin case 31 is made larger and the thermally insulating effect higher. Alumina, forsterite, etc., are used alone or as their mixture for the material of the ceramics and further, are used by adding other additives thereto. |
