<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a capacitance load with a simple circuit structure and a high current supply capability by controlling the currents between the drains and sources of both transistors. SOLUTION: An output voltage Vout becomes equal to an input voltage Nin when I1 and I3 are controlled so that the gate voltages Vgs1 (I1) and Vgs2 (I3) of the respective transistors 1, 2 become equal to each other. It is possible to obtain a highly accurate voltage output uninfluenced by the variations in the characteristics of the transistors by setting the element sizes and the currents I1, I3 of the transistors 1, 2 to be equal and setting the I1, I3 according to the ratio of the channel width ratio so that Vgs1 (I1)-Vgs2 (I3) will not change even though the transistor characteristics vary. Moreover, if the current I2 is controlled to be equal to the current I1, the driving circuit can easily be operated even when an external circuit for supplying the input voltage Vin has a low current supply capability.</p> |
