METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DISPLAY GENERATING STANDARD IMAGE PATTERN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display displayable in high resolution of overlapped and randomly compounded known standard image patterns without requiring a complex addressing system in correspondence with a required plurality of addressing drivers. SOLUTION: A desired display is performed by providing a selection devices 72 each on both sides of a display medium 70 and supplying a driving signal from a driver 76 controlled by a controller 78 to electrodes 74 provided on each of the selection devices 72. The electrodes 74 form N pieces of overlapped image patterns displaying a plurality of predetermined images. The overlapped image patterns are driven together and each image is driven in accordance to a predetermined driving rule. As a result, a plurality of particular images are displayable on the single display medium 70.
