PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for ultrasonic wave and an ultrasonic wave detecting method using it which can easily and definitely specifies a reflection wave from an object to be detected. SOLUTION: An upper plate 2a and a lower plate 2b are arranged parallel to each other. A plurality of pillars 3 are arranged in a grid state between them, and with them, the upper plate 2a and the lower plate 2b are connected together with the plurality of pillars 3. A side wall 4 extending in the direction opposite to the lower plate 2b is provided at the peripheral part of the upper plate 2a. At using, a transmission probe or a reception probe is fixed in a region which is surrounded with the upper plate 2a and the side wall 4. These members are made of, for example, an acrylic resin.
