摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the electrophotographic photoreceptor provided with a cylindrical substrate made of an aluminum alloy subjected to anodic oxidation to form UCL and prevented from occurrence of uneven density due to interference on an image, even when it is used for the apparatus applying electrophotography, and to provide the method for manufacturing this photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is provided on the outer circumference if a cylindrical substrate 1 with an undercoat layer and an organic photoconductive layer, and this undercoat layer(UCL) is made of the anodic oxidized aluminum alloy film and the standard deviation of this film thickness is <=0.5μm on the total surface of the substrate 1, and in this anodic oxidation process of this UCL 2, it is oxided in the conditions of controlling ratio of a number of conduction contact posits of electrodes per one substrate to an electric current value per one substrate is <=0.4 piece/A to form a film. A charge generating layer(CGL) 3 and a charge transfer layer(CTL) 4 are formed on the undercoat layer (UCL) 2.
