OPTICAL HEAD OF AN ACOUSTIC OPTIC DEFLECTOR

PURPOSE: An optical waveguide AOD(Acousto Optic Deflector) head is provided to install two cylindrical lenses in input/output locations of a waveguide, and to focus output beams on the outside of optical waveguide edges, so as to reduce the optical loss of the optical waveguide. CONSTITUTION: An optical waveguide AOD(Acousto Optic Deflector) installs at least two cylindrical lenses(1) in input/output locations of an optical waveguide(3), and focuses output beams on the outside of optical waveguide edges. The optical waveguide AOD amplifies laser beams incident upon IO(Input/Output) lenses(2) on the waveguide(3) from a laser diode(5), by using one cylindrical lens(1). The optical waveguide AOD focuses the laser beams outputted in the IO lenses(2) the outsides optical waveguide edges, by using the other cylindrical lens(1).
