PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an electronic equipment by so arranging one surface of a first circuit board as to face a specified side surface of a recording/ reproducing means, and so arranging one surface of a second circuit board as to face a specified part of the recording/reproducing means. SOLUTION: On one surface 32A of a first circuit board 32, the connection opening of a second drive connector 36 is mounted, facing forward, while faced to a first drive connector 35 provided at the left side end part of a side surface 34A in the backward direction of a CD-ROM derive 34, and a plurality of signal line connectors 37 and 38 provided in a signal cable 4, as well as a cable connector 39 for a flat cable, are mounted on the other surface 32B. Meanwhile, one surface 33A of a second circuit board 33 is so provided as to face a step part 34C of the CD-ROM drive 34. Thus, electronic equipment miniaturized.
