PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the generation of noise caused by a head driving current, and to reduce a development cost and product cost regarding a head driving circuit. SOLUTION: This head device 15 includes a magnetic head element 31 for recording an information signal in the magneto-optical recording layer of a magneto-optical disk 11, a slider for holding the magnetic head element 31 at a fixed gap to the surface of the mageto-optical disk 11, a head supporting member 32, with the magnetic head element 31 being attached to one end thereof, and the other end being supported on a fixed part 33 so as to be swung, and a wiring part, with one end thereof being connected to the magnetic head element 31 and the other end being disposed in the fixed part 33. The fixed part 33 is attached on the base of an optical pickup 13. In the midway or the end of the wiring part, a head driving circuit 15a for driving the magnetic head element 31 is provided.
