METHOD OF COATING THREE DIMENSIONAL OBJECTS WITH MOLECULAR SIEVES

A method of coating a three-dimensional substrate with a molecular sieve (zeolite, phosphate or mesoporous). A target is ablated by pulsed laser to create a plume. The substrate is manipulated, which may be by vibration, in the plume to coat the substrate with a film. The film is heated in a synthesis gel of the target to form the oriented film.
