PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the mounting structure of a branch pipe to reliably mount the tip part of the branch pipe in the given position of a buried pipe opening and provide sufficient adhesion. SOLUTION: A socket 13 for connection having diameter slightly smaller than that of the opening 12 of a buried pipe 10 and having an annular uneven surface part 16 formed on an outer periphery is mounted on the tip of a branch pipe 11. A saddle member 18 provided at the tip of a cylindrical part 19 with a saddle part 20 is mounted on the tip part of the socket 13 for connection, and a resilient engaging piece 25 situated at the base part of a saddle member 18 is engaged with the annular uneven surface part 16 of the socket 13 for connection in a manner that a position is regulatable.
