<p>The invention relates to a closure cap (10) for a fixed neck of a container, especially of a motor vehicle radiator. The inventive closure cap comprises a cap inner part (14) provided with a flow connection between the inside of the container and the outside of said container and which comprises a valve assembly (11) for releasing and blocking the flow connection. According to the invention, a valve body (22) of the valve assembly (11), said valve body being able to move in a to-and-fro manner, is pressed with pretension, in a direction toward the inside of the container, against a sealing seat (21) located on the cap inner part (14). The valve body is pressed in such a manner that it can lift from the sealing seat (21) when a limiting value of the inner pressure of the container is surpassed. The aim of the invention is to provide a simple and economical closure cap of this type with which an opening is prevented in the instance of an excess pressure produced by accumulated heat and with which a protection of the radiator is, as always, ensured during a further increase in pressure. To these ends, the invention provides that the pretension with which the valve body (22) is pressed against the sealing seat (21) can be adjusted by a drive (15) controlled by the operation of the vehicle.</p> |
