The connection structure (S) has a first linear dielectric strip (2) in which high frequency (HF) signals can propagate. A second dielectric strip (4) is connected to the first strip at an intermediate point on the first strip. A junction point between the first and second dielectric strips is formed along a curve, and the radius of curvature is at least equal to the wavelength of the HF signal. Independent claims are also included for a non-radiating dielectric (NRD) waveguide, and for a millimeter wave transmitter/receiver.
