PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propagating light detector unit which operates with high power in a wide bandwidth and disperses absorbed power to be heated to a minimum. SOLUTION: A propagating light detector unit comprises a base body 16, a light transmitting medium 12 disposed on the base body 16, a light absorbing medium 14 which is separated from the light transmitting medium 12 and disposed on the base body 16 and absorbs electrical signals generated by light transmitting through a light detector 10, and an electrode 18 provided on the light absorbing medium 14 and extracting the electric signals. The light transmitting medium 12 is separated from the light absorbing medium 14 in the horizontal or vertical direction. |
