ANALOG TELEPHONE SET, EXCHANGE AND ANALOG TELEPHONE SET CALLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ring an analog telephone set without supplying a high power signal from an exchange to the analog telephone set in an analog telephone set call method suitable for the use in a private telephone system. SOLUTION: Receiving an incoming call to an analog telephone set 200, an exchange 100 generates a small power encode signal (e.g. a pushbutton signal) to instruct the ringing of a call tone and transmits the signal to the analog telephone set receiving the incoming call. The analog telephone set 200 receiving the signal sent from the exchange 100 decodes the signal to discriminate whether ringing of the call tone is instructed. The analog telephone set 200 that detects the instruction for ringing a call tone outputs a call tone signal to a speaker section 230.
