The invention relates to a protective insulating coating which can be used against migration of tannin and instantaneous corrosion. The inventive coating can be obtained by applying a dispersion onto a surface which is to be treated.Said dispersion contains a hydrodispersible polycondensate, such as a polyamide, having a highly hydrophilic group, and an acrylic, vinyl or styrene polymer.
