PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment capable of effectively utilizing the recording capability of a recording means in the middle of printing. SOLUTION: This facsimile equipment has a control circuit 20 which performs control about a printer function and a facsimile function. In the circuit 20, the facsimile equipment calculates the throughput for print information of a recording circuit 16 during a printing operation and changes control contents about a facsimile receiving operation on the basis of the calculated throughput when the facsimile receiving operation is selected in the middle of printing.
