PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and weight of a whole die and to facilitate assembling in a cam unit of a press die. SOLUTION: A hanging cam unit 1 consists of a mounting base fixed to a moving die, a cam slider which is supported to a mounting base is energized in the return direction by an elastic member and is reciprocated with a desired stroke in a prescribed direction, and a cam driver, which moves the cam slider at an abutting face in the acting direction and is fixed to a fixed die, a mounting base 2 and the cam slider 3 are assembled by a slide keeper 4 in which the base parts are fixed to each of both side walls, the engaging part arranged to the tip is engaged with a slider engaging part arranged the other in order to sandwich the other and to slidably support it.
