PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new antibody capable of bonding to Aα-chain of a fibrinogen, hardly prolonging the converting time to a fibrin by a thrombin, bonding to the fibrin, not reacting with the degradation product of the fibrinogen and useful for clinical diagnosis, therapy, or the like. SOLUTION: This new antibody is a new fibrinogen-specific monoclonal antibody capable of bonding to the isolated Aα-chain of a fibrinogen, hardly prolonging the converting time to a fibrin by a thrombin, bonding to the fibrin, not cross-reacting with the degradation product of the fibrinogen, and produced by hybridoma ATCC HB 9740. The antibody is useful for in vivo or in vitro clinical diagnosis, therapy, or the like. The antibody can be obtained by immunizing BALB/cAnN mouse obtained by aseptic Cesarean section, or the like, and kept aseptically, with a human fibrin preparation, fusing the spleen cell of the immunized mouse with a mouse myeloma cell to prepare a hybridoma, and culturing the obtained hybridoma. |
