PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an artificial bait to be made closer to a real bait and to improve a fish appetite in fishing in deep water at a depth of >=20 m, at night or at a dark place with no light. SOLUTION: This artificial bait comprises a fishhook body 1, a luminous illuminant 2 attached to the fishhook body 1, a light transmission body 3 arranged at the outer periphery of the illuminant 2 and an optical fiber 9 in which one end is faced toward the illuminant and the other end is exposed from the light transmission body 3 to the outside.
