PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for controlling a variable displacement hydraulic pump capable of easily adjusting the initial set force of a spring. SOLUTION: This apparatus has a variable displacement portion 2 for controlling the displacement of a hydraulic pump 2, a servo piston 5 for operating the variable displacement portion 2, a servo valve 9 for operating the servo piston 5, a solenoid 30 having a plunger 32 abutting against an end portion 19 of a spool 11 of the servo valve 9, for pressing the spool 11 according to a load of an engine 50, a spring 33 for urging the spool 11 in a direction identical with the pressing direction of the plunger 32, and a casing 35 for housing the servo valve 9, the solenoid 30 and the spring 33. The spring 33 is arranged so as to urge the plunger 32, and a pressing force applying means for applying a pressing force from the outside of the casing 35 is disposed at an end portion of the spring 33 located on a side opposite to the end portion of the spring 33 located on a side of the plunger 32. |
